Was in Berlin over the weekend for a mate's 30th birthday.

Anyway, we were planning to go clubbing on Saturday night. I wasn't really in the mood, but went along to see if it would cheer me up. Needless to say it didn't. The club was in this massive old warehouse, in some Communist-era industrial complex. Very odd, but actually an really good venue. The club started at midnight, and we were there at about 1.30am.

So, one of the lads had left his camera in his pocket, and security took it off him at the door. They gave him a ticket for it.

Any road up, I got bored after a couple of hours and the music was ridiculously hard. Like back in 94/95 time. So I fecked off and had a couple of drinks before going to the hotel.

Next morning, turns out the guy lost the ticket for his camera and had been told to go back when the club closed, which was 6pm, Sunday evening. I went back with him, and in fact the club stayed open until 8pm Sunday night, and there were people I recognised from the night before.....still "'avin it" 20 hours later. The place was like a scene from that Inspector Morse episode except far more distrubing.

I'd had seven hours sleep, two meals, a few beers, and a walk round the city. These nutters had barely moved from the same spot. Maybe I'm just an auld get, but it still stunned me somewhat.
