pricey Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I'm going to the Bolton game in 2 weeks, which is a 2pm kick off. There's a train which gets to Liverpool at 13:08. What's my chances of getting to the game on time if I take a taxi, or am I better to get a taxi part way and then walk?
Will Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 If the train is on time and there are taxis at the station - no problem at all. Probably worth getting off the train sharpish and moving swiftly to the taxi ranks so you don't get stuck in a queue

cymrococh Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Follow the 'Taxi' signs when you get to the station for the quickest way to the taxi rank.
Cobs Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 If you're at all worried about being late - try getting an earlier train....

Guest Johnny Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Getting a taxi at that time will be murder.Lots of people all in the same place with the same idea.
pricey Posted March 28, 2006 Author Posted March 28, 2006 If you're at all worried about being late - try getting an earlier train.... thank you so much for that tip. Only problem is, that's the earliest train. (I'm coming from Derby) I guess, if necessary, it can be walked in about 45 mins? I've never actually timed it but usually walk into town after the match.
