Just wondering if he is going to Germany or not.

I hope he is, could be a great window for him. Hope he bangs them in and addsa few million to his diminishing price tag.

He's got no chance unless another striker gets injured.

I think he'll probably still go, they're a bit light up forward. The coach probably won't take Anelka so that leaves Wiltord, Trezeguet and Henry.

My friends in france reckon it's a straight choice between him and Anelka but that he does still have a chance. He is highly rated, well liked, and judging by the Adidas billboards with his face on all over Paris, they certainly hope he's going.

saha's well ahead of cissé in the reckoning at the moment. one is keeping van nistelrooy out of the team, the other can barely make our bench. i'd be surprised if he made les bleus squad. he'll be relying on an injury to someone else i think.

Ignorning his form for us although I am not to conviced he could not cut it as a foward ( not wide right ). He has done well in a french shirt I think sometimes international mangers try to hard to pick a team based on club form or start apps.

hell be going. Hes always done well for france and despite not doing it for us hes still a quality player.

As for s haha, as a manc said to me last week, hell need to do alot more than just a few league cup goals and goals against s*** sides if the fans will ever be happy about him replaceing van the man.

Could easily see Cisse being picked ahead of Saha - whether he deserves to be is another question but for a World Cup a national manager will go with what he knows so I'd expect Cisse to be in the squad... will probably be first sub too.

PARIS, March 30 (Reuters) - Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse says he is worried he will not be picked for France's World Cup squad because he has not played enough in the Premier League this season.

"Yes, I'm a bit worried. There is always a fear about not being in the squad," Cisse told French daily Le Parisien on Thursday.

The former Ligue 1 top scorer said he had to show he deserved to be in the squad. "I must not complain. I just need to shut up, work and give my best," he said.

Cisse joined Liverpool from AJ Auxerre for $25 million in July 2004 but broke his leg three months later.

Under coach Rafael Benitez he has been in competition with Fernando Morientes, Florent Sinama-Pongolle, Peter Crouch and, lately, Robbie Fowler for a starting place.

Cisse said he had no plans to leave the five-times European champions. "I still have a three-year contract. I feel good here even if I don't play much. I get along very well with my team mates and I have a nice house and a son, Cassius. I have also got married," he added.

Cisse did not figure in the France squad for the Slovakia friendly earlier this month, which France lost 2-1 and has not played for France since a second-half appearance in a goalless draw against Germany last November.

Behind Thierry Henry and David Trezeguet, Fenerbahce's Nicolas Anelka, Manchester United's Louis Saha and Cisse are in competition for one or two striker spots atr the World Cup which starts in Germany on June 9.

Djibril Cisse has admitted his concern about his place in France's World Cup squad.

The Liverpool striker has failed to secure a first-team spot at Anfield under Rafa Benitez and has often found himself behind Peter Crouch, Fernando Morientes and Robbie Fowler in the pecking order.

The former Auxerre striker still believes he can bring something to the French squad but knows that unless he is playing, he is not guaranteed a place on the plane to Germany.

"Yes, I'm a bit worried. There is always a fear about not being in the squad," he told Le Parisien.

"I must not complain, I just need to shut up, work and give my best."

Meanwhile, Cisse has reaffirmed his commitment to the Merseyside club and insists he is happy to remain a Red.

"I still have a three-year contract, I feel good here even if I don't play much.

"I get along very well with my team-mates and I have a nice house, a son and I have also got married."
