I was thinking the same on Saturday. How the feck has he stayed at Everton on a reported 40k+ a week for the past years. He is a bullying yard dog with absolutely no self control. They could find a similar player on any Sunday Pub League team or Prison team.

Like Shearer old Drunken is way past it. A few years both were trouble for defenders. Not any more.

 

Shearer goes out this year as he knows his time was up. In fact he knew it was up last summer but the morons at newcash offered him silly terms to stay another year.

I hope Ferguson stays at Everton for another couple of years. The reaction of their support when they seen him warming up on Saturday was brilliant. I was hoping they would get him on as soon as possible, as with being a man down, the one thing we needed them to do was bring someone on who cant actually run.

 

He is now kept on their payroll specifically for derbies - when in fact, he's as ineffective in that game as in all the others. He's one of the reasons why they will never move on. Long may that continue.
