The Empty feeling of No CL Footy this week

It's football and i do actually enjoy the sport so i'll still watch it.

 

I do feel sick when i hear people talk about Arsenal's game or the benfica barca one

It was the draw for this round when it hit me.

 

Usually I'd have slid my lunch break at work to coincide with it, I'd have my sheet of paper with all the combinations preplanned (having spent the night before checking each variation), and then ready to book as soon as we knew the venue and dates.

 

I didn't even watch this draw.... Gutted.

 

What a run we've had though... the memories will live with me forever!! :D

I guess we still have the title of European Champions and that sounds better than "potential" European Champions. Will cheer on the @rse but will be thinking about us potentially playing Barca.

will console myself with reliving the humiliation of the blue sh!te. it would have been a lot worse this week if we hadn't taken 3 points in the derby

 

will support juve. not just cos of history between the teams but the 4th place point.

Dont worry, when the program on Sky or ITV starts you'll still be able to see the Kop swinging their scarves and Stevie lifting the title. For another couple of months anyway.

 

To be honest, I think Benfica will cause Barca some problems, but probably not enough to qualify. They're a very tidy side in posession and aren't afraid to defend if they need to either.
