everton only lost becos arteta wasn't playing so be told.

My son and I laughed when we looked in the program, Arteta the one to watch and he wasn't even playing, enough said about them really.

What shows them up to be small time is their assertation that Gerrard being sent off caused them to suffer - i.e. the tactical genius had a plan, no flexibility, no plan B, no ability to change as the game developed, but fall back on the old chestnut - it was Liverpool's fault!

Stubbs' c00ck

Nah - those boggle eyes are hypnotised by Beatties baps.

FWIW in the first half I thought we should have had a pen as from a corner Stubbs (how appropriately named is he?) had his arm round Sami's neck and hauled him round to stop him getting to the ball. Beattie's attempt to kick Sami into being Stubbs' twin was also very questionable. We could have had three pens - Harry's long shot, Xabi hitting the bar, Crouch's soft miss, Luis extra touch,...it could have been 10-1! It should have been at least 5.

School of pataphysics more like...

Crouch gets fouled all the time & gets the ref's decision about 10% of those times. It's madness, because he's massive, it's impossible to foul him? In fact, if you've got hold of his shirt, or your arms all-over his shuolders, it's his fault?

stubbs quoted in the echo as saying

"I don't think it was a great game passing-wise. Liverpool just look for Crouch as quick as they can. It's just so disappointing that we didn't put them under any pressure"

what a twot. as if a team with alonso, gerrard, garcia, kewell, champions of europe, just plays route 1. in any event, i thought that would be the sort of battle they like and advocate!

as for the disappointment, well if you can't put us under pressure when our captain and best player is sent off after 18 mins, you might as well give up, pal!

reality translation:

"they were brilliant, we were sh!te. we couldn't really get the ball off them. even when we did, all we managed was one good attempt at goal in the second half from a set piece. apart from that, we were sh!te. it's disappointing because it was so obviously apparent not just to the whole of merseyside, but thanks to sky, the whole of the world. they'll be saying, school of science, my @rse! it could have been a lot worse even though liverpool were down to 10 men for so long. but what can our supporters expect with the lumps of lard (no offence to any manufacturers of the cooking ingredient) who turn out for us? anyway, if i take the p!ss out of that lanky rodney lookalike, who's always fair game even when he's made our defence look like @rseholes, maybe it will detract the attention from our clumsy and clueless thuggery. i certainly don't want it to look like we are awestruck at the gulf between the teams and how good liverpool were even without gerrard."

Reality check people!

Moyes said: "I think the scoreline was harsh but then maybe we didnt deserve anything from the game because our form wasn't good enough,"

"Theres no criticism of the players because of the way our form has been, but today we had an opportunity because they were down to ten men from early on and we couldnt capitalise."

Where did he say the scoreline flattered Liverpool? That's right he didn't. :hmm:

What? It's exactly the same thing

Yep, especially as we had one goal wrongly ruled out and both Kewell and Alonso were close to addeding another couple of goals, bitter c****

Crouch had started in an offside position and was between Hyypia and Wright when Hyypia headed the ball.

He was offside, using both the classic and new ( mindnumbing ) defenitions

Well the right to gloat in the face of evertonians is firmly in the red hands the next six months anyways. A well-deserved victory.

Pah, spelling.
