I think this is commendable and I find it disappointing to read so many negative remarks about two such staunch Reds making such a personal physical sacrifice.

 

I wonder how many of you would be prepared to go to such lengths to support the team we all love???

"i'll walk to the semi final if we win this".... thats what i said at halftime when we were 3-0 up against Birmingham and Jonesy added: "so will I".... and that's exactly what me and Jonesy are going to do. We are going on a walk of 3 kilometers from our respective homes in Chorlton, to the stadium in Old Trafford. we shall walk out of a bar in chorlton, at around 4pm, and hopefully arrive at Old Trafford, where we should arrive at Old Trafford in plenty of time for the 5.15 kickoff. i hope this gets the recognition it deserves from the official site, and the club.

People should realise the extent of the sacrifice involved here. Personally, I wept when I read of the bravery of these two fine lads! To think, the soldiers in Iraq have the nerve to complain! They don't know the half of it. I believe we should all contribute as much as is possible of our wages this month to this brave and plucky venture and I for one certainly won't mind my children missing meals so we can give 'till it hurts. So come on, join with me people and GIVE GIVE GIVE to the charity event of the year! (Should we get Saint Bob involved? Maybe we could have a pre-game concert at OT?)
