oojason Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 the week after Gerrard will have 'NWDA are c****' on the back of his shirt - to signify how much a help they were in helping Liverpool be ready for the Capital Of Culture '08.
Ian Garro Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Its good news that and about time, if its true. In Rugby League, both Widnes and St Helens have the Liverpool 08 logo on their kit, I think Tranmere do to. I've often wondered why we dont - seeing as we actually bear the name of the Capital of Culture 2008.
SkippyjonJones Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Excellent. just think of how much the new shirt sales will generate - especially the money from all those wools walking to the game.

Ian Garro Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 It's easy to mock, but in fact Liverpool has more listed buildings than any British city outside London and also more museums I believe. It would be a much bigger laugh if it were, say, the cultural desert that is ManctownAmen.
