Hightown Phil Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 City got through at Newcastle tonight. Dunno what the score was, or when it will be.
Guest ojdk Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0500liv...-name_page.html Dates have already been finalised either side of Easter for the two-legged final whoever gets through to face Liverpool with both games televised live on Sky television. The first leg is at Anfield on Thursday, April 13 (kick-off 7.30pm) with the second leg at either the City of Manchester Stadium or St James' Park on Friday, April 21.
Gunga Din Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 cool, i'll be able to make the second leg of that

Maldini Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Just read over on TLW, from a guy who's either a mate of Adam Hamill or his brother that Hamill, Anderson and Hobbs were called up for England, but had to withdraw as the game takes place between the two Youth Cup games.

Benitez Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 cool, i'll be able to make the second leg of that I'm pleased Man City got through, for a purely selfish reason, just to go to the game at Coms! Should be good crowds from both set of fans!
Stew F Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Forgive my ignorance, but will Rafa be involved in any way with the preperation etc? Im just thinking this will be a big result for the club, and theres no better manager of a team over two legs.

Our U18 team has lost to City twice this season by the way BUT, that was the Academy team alone. This team of course, has the likes of Hobbs, Anderson and Antwi helping them out! As well as Hammil who is now a fully fledged reservite.
Jarg Armani Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 there was a bit in the guardian yesterday about this city youth team being a good bunch. anyone read it? said they had loads of offers to get them out on loan but turned them down in favour of building a strong team. kids might have their work cut out to win this one. come on mini reds!
Maldini Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Surely England U/19They qualify for the u18s, so it could've been them too. Don't think it was the u21s
mm2259 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 (edited) Any stewards had an inkling of the arrangements for this one? Will it be cash on the gate or ticketed? Edited March 24, 2006 by mm2259
