Echo:

If Everton need further encouragement, they will look to Liverpool's lingering softness in seeing off set-pieces, where zonal marking remains an alien concept.

Even though Liverpool over-ran Newcastle, Shola Ameobi's free header and Jean Alain-Boumsong's near miss showed that a good ball can cause unease.

There is another factor at work here.

Pepe Reina, for all his height, is not the most assured keeper in the air, though with Everton's Richard Wright just as dubious we may yet have two dodgy keep-ers on display.

OS:

it was Liverpool's 30th clean sheet of the season - only the seventh time the feat has been achieved and the first time for 22 years.

:hmm:

I reckon Reina is on the take.

Now who says the Echo isn't a Blue Rag

It is a Len Capeling article! Don't listen to anything that t*** writes.

Well that's that then The Daily Post's sports editor and a self confessed Blue.

Probably ghost-written by that Geordie who said before the League game at Anfield "...the best way to beat Liverpool is to attack their strengths."
