Schools and religious dress

Do you agree that schools should have the right to send children home for wearing (Islamic) headscarves/burkas?

 

Should the example of France (with a ban on all religious symbols) be followed?

 

Would you be in favour of setting up Islamic schools run by parents for Muslim students?

 

Should schools still be run by religious groups - such as Catholic girl schools or Christian Brothers?

 

Should schools be completely non-denominational?

 

Are you/would you send your child to a religious-run school?

 

 

 

I went to a Loreto convent (and one year in a Christian Brother's school for final exams) and my experiences with nuns were ok - had some bad experiences, we had to pray before lessons and all that, but I would choose not to send my child to a religious school..
