crisps Posted March 22, 2006 Author Posted March 22, 2006 (edited) Romanov is an eijit. The biggest mistake was hiring Rix in the first place of course... or getting rid of Burley when he seemed to be doing a very good job Soon as owners start choosing the players to buy and interfering with selection, there's only one way your clubs can go! Kahnee Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Romanov's quoted as saying part of the problem was the buys in January. The fact he reportedly chose most of the 11 they brought in is overlooked of course Hearts look set to become the new Newcastle
floyd Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Shame, as the Hibs fans won't be able to sing to the tune by the Manics"If you tolerate Rix, then your children will be next"
Falconhoof Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Rix will be on the first plane out to Cambodia.
R A Softlad Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Graham Rix lasted long... That's what the 15 year old said.
Ostrich Man Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 see romanov is trying to get out of paying burley rest of contract and is now saying they had to let him go as he wouldnt accept their offer of help about his alcohol problems.......nice
denver Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Saw Jim Duffy today saying Rix should have been given more time. While I think Romanov is a loon, I thought his biggest mistake was appointing him in the first place. Decided to check the stats (league only). Hearts without Rix: 11 wins, 2 Draws, 1 Loss. Av of 2.5 points per gameHearts with Rix : 6 wins 6 Draws 4 Loss. Av of 1.26 points per game If Rix had been in charge all season they'd have been in 9th by nowIf they'd maintained their pre-Rix form they'd be one point behind Celtic (they're currently 17 points back, depite being in touching distance when he took over)
