I'm not a gambling man, but a friend, when Michael Jackson was about to, or seemingly about to go to jail, walked into the bookies at the top of Bold Street and deadpans:

 

"what odds will you give me on Michael Jackson committing suicide before the end of the year?"

 

The guy behind the counter paused for breath for a second and chuckled "i don't think we can do that".

 

The next day, the scandal about Leslie Grantham and his webcam broke in the tabloids.

He walked into the same bookies and asks:

 

"what odds will you give me on Leslie Grantham committing suicide before the end of the year?"

 

One day they're going to bite, i'm sure of it.
