Software that breaks big MP3s

[aka Dus]

I have a few continuous MP3s, 60 minutes + etc which I would like to break into smaller more manageable MP3s.

 

Like taking a continuing mix and breaking it into shorter 'tracks'.

 

What's the best free software to do this? I have the usual Real Player and WM Player corporate free versions but I don't think they do the job?

 

Any ideas?
