Ripley Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 As their season threatens to crumble, the Sheffield United manager again does a good impersonation of a bag lady. At the end of their 2 - 1 defeat at Norwich he offered his hand to the members of the Norwich bench and was ignored by two of them. His response was to flick two fingers of his still outstretched hand. His comment: ""I think it's a disgrace. It's a total lack of respect. I demand the respect of benches."
cymrococh Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 That was the funniest thing I've seen in ages and that is the funniest thing he could have said about it
Ripley Posted March 21, 2006 Author Posted March 21, 2006 That was the funniest thing I've seen in ages and that is the funniest thing he could have said about it Warnock is ace. I still hope they come up and he brightens our lives next season.
cymrococh Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Warnock is ace. I still hope they come up and he brightens our lives next season.I prefer him at the distance he is now, I can laugh without getting annoyed at him.
Paul B Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I think most people have had a reappraisal of their feeling for Leeds Utd as they hope to see Colin's face when he's pipped for promotion by the Bell End Roaders.
Earl Hafler Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Is calling him Colin supposed to be derogatory ?

Stevie H Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 anyone else heard the story of when stan ternent supposedly headbutted colin? it was during halftime in a game at bramhall lane, sheff utd vs burnley. apparently colin had installed a secret room in between the two changing rooms so that someone could spy on burnley's team talk. so ternent found out about this and stormed into the sheff utd dressing room where he proceeded to nut colin. quality lower league stuff.

Knox_Harrington Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I hope Warnock comes up. He'll be f***ing hysterical.
Murphman Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I hope Warnock comes up. He'll be f***ing hysterical. You've got a short memory Neil they were far from hysterical last time we played them. He's an out and out c*nt right up there with Mourinho, feck him I hope they lose 65-0 in the play offs.
Ripley Posted March 21, 2006 Author Posted March 21, 2006 I hope Warnock comes up. He'll be f***ing hysterical.Indeed. Anything like being refused a penalty after a John Terry handball will be compulsive viewing.

He's an out and out c*nt right up there with Mourinho, feck him I hope they lose 65-0 in the play offs.I haven't a short memory at all. I know he's a c*** but he'd wind a fair few up straight away. And he comes out with brilliant nonsense like the first post. Also his sides play good stuff, he's got a few good players who he's kept and I've a soft spot for Blades having spent four years in Sheffield. It'd be a good away for me.

And he demands the respect of benches.
Stevie H Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 He's also extremely well read and writes better poetry than John Toshack. And he demands the respect of benches. his v-sign to nigel worthington and friends on saturday was certainly poetic. beautifully done.
Guest Scot Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 It'd be worth it for the two games between Colin and Jose. Like Michael Jackson and MC Hammer meeting in a nightclub, they'd be going all out.

Leo No.8 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I can see him walking round local parks and gardens, shaking his fist in fury when benches fail to acknowledge his presence.... 'I demand the respect of benches!' Ha ha - brilliant! Remember when he accused Henchoz of 'spitting' as him, ie spitting when he was within 20 yards of him- complete tool.
cymrococh Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 his v-sign to nigel worthington and friends on saturday was certainly poetic. beautifully done.and utterly life-affirming.
Murphman Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 If that's aimed at me Taff I've only one thing to say to you. 'Show us your medals and your representative honours'. Also his sides play good stuff, Boooottttttt!!!!!!
