Romario Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Seems to have burst on the scene. I've never really seen much of him before. He's rough around the ages but he could be a class player. Seems a bit like Saha in his Fulham days. How come he's getting so many games all of a sudden?
Herbie von Smalls Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 won't get much of a look in once reyes and van persie are back to full fitness
Guest Anders Honoré Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 what happened to alidaiare (spelling fecked)?
owenthomas Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 he went on loan to West Ham and, if i remember correctly, has now moved somewhere else (that could possibly be back to Arsenal - i'm not sure!)..
cymrococh Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 i think he is at wolves on loanHe's definitely at Wolves.
Stevie H Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 he played several seasons for monaco but only ever as a backup player really. i don't think he's all that, but he's togo's star player. if that's any kind of a recommendation.
Leo No.8 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Personally, I think Adebayor is cack. He really is another Kanu - skilful, but overall fairly ineffective. Strange buy I thought...
Maldini Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 he went on loan to West Ham and, if i remember correctly, has now moved somewhere else (that could possibly be back to Arsenal - i'm not sure!)..Went to Celtic and couldn't get a game > went to West Ham and couldn't get a game > went to Wolves

Do you remember that two month spell Kanu had where he was absolutely unplayable? It featured that Chelsea hatrick. All of a sudden i realised why some considered him a footballer. I think Adebayor is a bit like Crouch but more mobile and less effective at holding the ball up. It's wenger's concession to the need for a target man

Ombudsam Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Yeah i heard about that. Scored about 55 in 77. How do you mark someone like that. It's cheating.

It's wenger's concession to the need for a target man Adebayor is nothing like Crouch. Stick to librarians and Dean Ashton.
