We were at a friends gig on saturday night, small accoustic set with a couple of other bands and artists. I have to say I really enjoyed it but my mates just called me, going on at how good a night it was and that he was well impressed at how I just ignored the southern tawts in the corner. I replyed "why would I have been bothered?" he said "did you not hear what they were saying bout you? They were giving it all, "he's a disgrace to his nation, it's idiots like him that give the irish a bad name by contorting with his oppressors of so many years, does he not know what this country has done to his?"" I thought my mate was taking the p155 but he says that they were getting really abusive towards me, when one of the lads had a word. They shut up after that but seemed to be the type of guardian reader, who have a massive opinion on everything because daddys trust fund allows them.

I don't know how to feel but i am angry and although I know i shouldn't i am a bit upset by it. I know they know feck all about me and my pride to be irish and I know they don't have the right to comment on me, it's just the fact that they were looking down their nose at me is really bugging me.

Or am I being a big jessie?
