baja the hut Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Reads the game really well, has the vision, picked out the cross beautifully for the first goal, showed great composure going forward and the technique on the volley was remarkable. A real team man (not like a striker i won't mention who was absolutely s***)
baja the hut Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Much better than that i'd say, we didn't really miss Finnan today which is saying a lot.
Dominus Maximus Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Great deal, wonder what josser is doing right now?
Mike Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Much better than that i'd say, we didn't really miss Finnan today which is saying a lot. ah, but finnan has been out of sorts last few games - not surprised hes been rested
Benitez Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 well if he's a good squad player, we ain't doing so bad are we Thought Krompy ( ) had a really good game today. Icing on the cake if that volley had gone in!
baja the hut Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 ah, but finnan has been out of sorts last few games - not surprised hes been rested well at least we have some other than Josemi to lean on!
Guest Jack Bauer Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Kung-fu Kromkamp was f***ing boss today.
R A Softlad Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 a billion times better than the photo imposter
abc Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Smart footballer, athletic and quick. Straight swap for Josemi? Deal of the century.
crisps Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 (edited) Finnans been excellent but i think he has a fight on! ...and what were villareal thinking!? Edited March 19, 2006 by mikeyj
Guz Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 posts like this make me cringe, Josemi started very well too - dont jinx it!
Benitez Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 posts like this make me cringe, Josemi started very well too - dont jinx it! i was thinking that as well, but didn't want to mention it, for fear of the mockers / jink, damn you
Guest Sabre Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Josemi was a good tackler, but his positioning and passing were always a little suspect.
Andy-oh-six Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Another good performance in his natural position. He looks a very good addition to the squad and will keep Steve on his toes.
Foo Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I will not remember Josemi for his pace either. So far Jan looks like a solid player, he's played better and better after a relatively slow start.
Dule Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 What about playing Finnan at RW like we did last year? Kromkamp seems to struggle playing there, and Finnan always loves pushing up anyway, could be something to look at?
Guest Ant Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Thought he was brilliant great ball in for crouch
ploveroil Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Don't want to put the mockers on either, but i thought JK had a super game today. He seems to be improving each time he plays. He is slightly different to Finnan for me though, less marauding, more considered if you like (slightly overplaying I know, but you get my meaning?).
aka Dus Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Cruzcampo would want to show more than he has to keep Finnan out of the side, all things being equal. But he's played well enough to be pleased with his arrival of what I've seen.
redpool Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Finnan or Krompkamp? Nice problem for Rafa! With all of the games we play having both is outstanding. Finnan is now rested for Birmingham.
stressederic Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Was a superb cross for Crouch. Perfect flight and weight.
