there are quite a few decent boozers close to the ground. The Newcastle arms is opposite the tyneside irish centre on the gallowgate, three bulls heads just across the road from eldon square.

Yeah, it is a bit 'up itself' :D Loved the music in there tho'. Breath of fresh air in that respect.

 

Oh, and it was a (literal) crawl up the road to Leazes Terrace (Halls of R)..... ;)

when did you drink there? I was a regular for 3 years back in the late 80's when gazza still played for the barcodes.

 

does the "world famous" trent house still have a free jukebox?

There is this pub in the city centre its more of a bar infact I went there with my dad its in a new indoor complex we got no stick when we went in there infact there were quite a few reds.

 

Forgive me I forget the name of the complex

the jukebox was still free last time I went in there
