Dubai Reds

On the lookout for any Reds based in Dubai who might know the best place to catch the Newcastle and Birmingham games. My "local" (Crowne Plaza) will most likely be indulging in some sort of rugby fetish this weekend - it was last week and only switched over to the Arsenal game after half an hour) and might not be open late enough for the Cup game next week so any pointers will be appreciated.

I think Goodfellas at the Rydges is quite decent....dunno if there are many Pool fans there though. Doubt there are many anywhere here tbh.

 

Edit: You might want to check if they are indeed showing the game before going over. Had it from quite a few folks that they show a lot of Pool games.

Cheers mate. I've only been over here a week so still trying to find my way round. Just found out its all rugby til 11 tonight so most likely the same tomorrow.

I've watched football in the dhow and anchor in jumeirah beach hotel (juve second leg), fibber macgees behind sheik zayed road (irish bar that looks like a pool hall and has 3 screens) and the sport bar in the jumeirah hilton aswell

Yeah just started work this week. Its great so far but I'm just getting used to having no footy on the weekend anymore (its Thurs and Fri over here)...I mean, what is a fella supposed to do when there is no match on your day off?

 

Get out of work at half five so just time to leg it to an hotel bar for the game today.
