Guest mick the baker Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Did anyone notice last night when cisse put in a superb cross for gerrard to give crouch a tap in, that no one acknowledged cisses contribution, whether you like him or not , i dont adher to the cold shoulder treatment, after all he is wearing the red shirt and were in in it together.
anny road Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Could you tell that he was reading too much into it from his body language? shut up fool
jimmylibel Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 my mate said that in the pub after..i thought and still think he was reading too much into it Saw a quick clip of Morientes celebrations on Sky News and it looked to me he just didn't want to celebrate at all rather than a snub of Cisse... just got the impression that he was annoyed with himself or something. That said, it was a very, very quick clip.

Andy @ Allerton Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I must admit I thought that no one seemed to be going near Cisse after that goal... Thought I must have imagined it until I saw this post today..? Did seem a bit odd to me. Hopefully I'm reading too much into it though.
jimmylibel Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Really doing the Irish proud there Jimmy. Too early for you? Far too early Jonesy, far too early!!! But I'm telling ya it was in his eyes.

Guest Kev Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 crouch acknowledged cisse's contribution as they were running back. it's not a big deal, it was the end of the game, the five defensive players didn't even really celebrate at all Carra ran to the Fulham fans, did the haka and kissed the badge. I'm surprised the tv never picked this up.
Barnesy_10 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 i noticed it as I saw the Kop acknowledge Cisse's cross more than they did the goal... then I was trying to figure out who got last touch by seeing which one thanked Cisse, but noone seemed too, thought it was a bit odd as they usually do acknowledge each other for assists..
nrkintheuk Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Cisse celebrated with the fans. When they were running back to the halfway line Crouch & Stevie G both went over & gave him a pat on the back Nothing to see here....
Coyler Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I heard Rafa told them the last one to touch Cissé gets sold with him in the summer.
