Just finished watching this documentary about the Dandy Warhols and the Brian Jonestown massacre.

 

Strangely enough I actually enjoyed the music by BJM than the Dandys although maybe that was what it was about.

 

Must say it reminds me a lot of my mate Rob and his stories of when he was with a signed label, the excesses and that and the comedown of the creative elements in the band as they sought to fuel their talent in 'other' ways once they lacked the drive that took them there.

 

Many of them are now alckies who scream at shadows. The most talented ones in the band at that.

 

Rob had to work at his trade and perhaps that's why he returned to work.
