anny road Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 why the f*** do fans think they know better than the manager? Why did they boo the substitution tonight? Robbe will play v Newcastle and cant play v Brum... What must this do to Moro who played ok tonight,,, Why6 did he not applaud the fans on the way off? I wonder...? Best fans in the world? My a*** I was arguing with a bloke in front of mee when Robbie went off...he was telling me that the manager had lost the fecking plot, and Moro was never EVER going to score for us again...he hadnt got to the end of his rant when he bagged t***

R A Softlad Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Spot on Dave. Even if Rafa doesn't wan t rid it wouldn't surprise me if Moro wanted to go.
anny road Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 You got home ok then? and fans booing is a bag a w***. yeh...Scot was driving
Guest FrankH Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 watch his reactipon though...he nags his chest near his badge..he was happy enough Totally agree about the booing, what is it going to acheive? Think he was thumping his heart and pointing to someone rather than the badge tho.

ricflairandy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Spot on Dave. Even if Rafa doesn't wan t rid it wouldn't surprise me if Moro wanted to go. we can only hope!
Barnesy_10 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 it was from alot of sections of the crowd too... reminded me of when Igor came on against City a few years back... some bird was on the phone-in on radio city whilst I was coming home, she said she was in the Kop and admitted that she was one of the ones booing... then she said now Mori has scored it gives Rafa even more of an excuse to play him 'forever' now...
Knox_Harrington Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 f***ing right, Anny. Spot on mate. Ridiculous. He looked to have been playing well as well.
Hightown Phil Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 In conclusion. 50% of the people there tonight were ******* and not regulars. Anyone who saw the lack of people in the Albert after the game would know what I meant.
Guest munas Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 watch his reactipon though...he bangs his chest near his badge..he was happy enough He seemed to be seeking one of our players out and calling him over..Carra maybe?
Guz Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 What was directed at Morientes? Sounds like fans not happy with seeing Fowler being subbed off rather than anything against Morientes or Cisse but probably came out like that
Kenny_ Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 w****** I don't think there's any need to boo the manager's decision even if you don't agree with him. And we were winning as well. Shut your gob, applaud the player off and the one who comes on. Found this interesting observation on raotl: Rafa's reaction to Morientes' goal"Anyone else see it? Pointed to the crowd, gave two armed punch and then crossed his hands horizontally, as if to say "Enough, no more" in releation to the booing perhaps? Maybe I'm reading too much into it but he looked slightly pissed off. " Anyone notice this?
magic melia Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 same thig all around were i was no sooner had the booing stopped when the ball was in the back of the net
Big G Superhero Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Think Rafa was thinking the same as me... "Stick that in yer el pipo and smoke it, t***s"

I can understand the reaction myself.

Anyone who saw the lack of people in the Albert after the game would know what I meant.Fanciful mate. 22,000 tickets didn't suddenly fall into the hands of complete strangers. That booing was disgusting and Moro answered it in the best way - by shoving it back down their throats. I'm affraid we're seeing a slice of the downside of signing Robbie that I predicted in january. Parochialist favouritism.

Guest LB Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I agree. Booing directed at the players, manager or anything to do with the team is totally out of order and will achieve nothing other than making us look like t*ssers. It's just an embarrassment. People should be kicked out and banned if they boo!
AE Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Natural reaction to a poor sub. FFS Robbie will be playing on Sunday. Take him off and keep him fresh, we are in the middle of a big run of back to back games.
