Mad_Fer_It Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 i was thinking of this before he scored tonight though...
fitzy Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Thought he played well tonight. I think he was taken off early tonight to ensure he's fit to start at the weekend.
Tones Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Should have had 3 for us now. Not too bad for an unfit striker. Just wait til he gets fit

gkmacca Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 (edited) Absolutely thrilled for Robbie. Actually, Pako's interview in the new LFC magazine, which notes that the immediate needs of the team were put before the option of getting Robbie really fit before playing, help his cause, contract-wise, no end. But the lad is a gem. Edited March 15, 2006 by gkmacca
Herbie von Smalls Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 surely he must be up to full fitness by now? what is it six weeks, since he joined?
ricflairandy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 He put morientes through clean 3 times today. All 3 times he fluffed it. Fowler today was fantastic. In the box he had the movment of the old fowler, but his main strength today was dropping deep and running the game. Reminded me of sheringham in a waytonight.
Billy Talbot Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Reminded me of sheringham in a waytonight exactly. That's the way he should play. I once met him, and said "Robbie, you were the best midfielder we had today.". I don't think he got my joke. We had drawn 0-0 at home to Blackburn. Still, he signed my ticket. I think I gave it to one of his mates. I was drunk. I was better than him at tin can 3 and in.
Guest Makaveli Smith Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Keep Robbie. Behead Agger. I'm probably going to get a small ban or something for this but I have to say it, I dont like it when people set their minds so early on players, never really giving them a chance... the kind of person who wants to have have an opinion always.... go f*** yourself. I wont take it back. you're the kind of person that gives fans a bad name and liverpool can do without you. surely he must be up to full fitness by now? what is it six weeks, since he joined? This isn't the normal situation of getting a footballer 'fit' though, Fowler has a lot of muscle to build, and body fat to lose...I mean , in real terms, you'd never call him fat .. hes not , but for a footballer he is... he wont make proper fitness until next season .. maybe late on this season ... what he has to show though is that he's worth it... and for me he has... he has scored 4 already , 3 offside and rightly so , but that is not the point ... each time the keeper didnt know he was offside ... he scored in open play until the goals were disallowed... so basically I think rafa will be happy with him.... however. show he not manage to gain pace, he might be overlooked for next season .... I really hope he gets a contract, hes got a talent that i've not seen for a long time. natural goal scorer. good luck from Ireland Robbie

floyd the barber Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 fowler was simply out of this world in the first half.....was like the fowler of 10 years ago
R A Softlad Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Ironic that he re-opened his account against Fulham.
Snoeker Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Reminded me of sheringham in a waytonight. Alright, 8 more years of Robbie
AE Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Ironic that he re-opened his account against Fulham. Where were the other four
