You've convinced me we should never offer a contract extension, or indeed a contract, again.

 

The risks just aren't worth it.

I'd be amazed that:

 

a) Liverpool would give a manager such a long deal, after the amount they had to pay to get Houllier out.

 

b) Rafa would want to commit to an even longer deal than the one he's already on. After all, he is the man who chose to have a one year contract at Valencia for a while.

 

I therefore think this story is either bollorks, or errr, not quite true. yet.
