You can slag Tyldsley off....I do often but christ he is good at times in that commentary

thought he was exceptional during the semi final too..

 

I still flick on the last....well 6mins of that game, the emotion and atmosphere brings a lump to my throat every time.

 

From when cisse down near the touchline looks like a raging animal...then goes for John Terry..

 

nunez down by the corner flag with the sight of the fans "bouncing" in the backround...

he is much more enthusiastic than the commentator on Sky

For one liners Tyldsley is best IMO. His comments at the end of the semi with Chelsea and the way he says it is what does it for me. When Gerrard scored in Turkey - "Hello, hello, here we go", "you never know with Liverpool"

 

He's actually a very nice fella, and although unashamedly a manc, he is a superb commentator IMO.

 

Was it his commentary at the end of the FA Cup final in 2001? "Michael Owen has won the c up all by himself". Lump to the throat time.

tyldsley hides his manc allegiance well. he's a good commentator and in his radio city days you'd have thought he was a red.

He has won the Cup for Liverpool all by himself.

I'm sure I read an interview in which he says that he is always genuinely happy to see all English clubs do well in Europe...
