The lad certainly has made an impression in the few months he has been at City. In looks and in style he certainly reminds me of a young Moro. Maybe we can kidknapp him and play him in his place tommorow.

He's a lot better than Moro as well :(

Not seen him tonight but before that he looked clumsy to me, and a tad lazy. But knows how to use his strength well.

I thought he looked very useful

I think he's s****.

I don't think he looks much either

This undoubtedly means he will go on to become Van Bastenesque

he's a 21 year old kid in a foreign country and he's already got something like 4 in 8 so give him a chance.

his miss v charlton should never be forgotten though

I've seen most of his games this season. Either he's been really lucky with his shooting or else he's a quality player. Looks like Moro and plays like I hoped he would. Seems to have a brilliant shot on him and is aware of those around him. Never even heard of him a couple of months ago.

You dont half big players who have done very little up dont you? Harewood, Roberts etc and now Samaras

Looks very good to me - not sure about comparisons with Morientes though, for me he just looks like him and they are both good in the air.

He's much quicker than Morientes, but doesn't have his technique. They are both good attacking balls into the box, but wheras Samaras comes across as being a bit unpredicatable, Morientes in his heyday I thought was more technical and less of a wildcard.

I think Samaras will be one of those players who'll miss easy chances, but he'll get himself into a lot of positions and accordingly will get goals. He does actually bring other players into play very well also, which suggests he's got it up top as well; he played a few passes against Sunderland without looking, instinctively he knew where the forward-running midfielder would be, which is a good sign.

He's only 20, settling into a new style of football and will get better - I've been very impressed so far...

Yeah I stuck him in my fantasy team - and he's scoring loads of points already.

His 3 points last night put me 71st in The Times FA Cup competition out of tens of thousands, which was nice.

If Bolton keep a clean sheet tonight I might be in with a chance of winning it...
