mozilla connections

[Tosh]

For some odd reason... my Firefox has stopped talking to certain sites - such as gmail or secure parts of places like Amazon

 

Message that comes up is "connection to... was refused"

 

I have turned off my windows firewall - although my Norton one is out of date. And done the opposite

 

Any suggestions as to how to fix this little problem? Thanks

 

It also has a habit of making posts in the wrong place ;¬)
