Crouch V Heskey

hes brought some s**** play out of us... we were good last season with the passing game... now its hoofing up to him where he flicks on to the keeper or gives away a foul. Am sick of it...

Crouch is a better footballer than Heskey, he's more intelligent on the ball. Goalscoring wise there isn't much between them.

 

I'll always remember Heskey for that miss against Man Utd at Anfield and he felt the wrath of the kop hahaha was funny in hindsight!!! F*ck off heskey

Both offer very little goal threat more often than not. If we had a class forward off Crouch then that wouldn't be so bad as he's a pretty good player and clever which Heskey wasn't but as an out and out forward I'd have neither.

 

One thing that is so painfully obvious with Crouch is that he reacts to the situation rather than anticipates like a Fowler or Garcia would buying themself a bit of time and space. This coupled with a complete lack of pace and strenght for me means unless it's set up perfectly for him he ain't going to score and the ones he does score any striker in the top two divisions would be peed off if they missed them too.

Both not even good enuff to warm the bench but if I had to choose one I would rather have Heskey then Crouch.

We were good THIS SEASON before new year. Slowly but surely our play has started to degrade and the number of long balls has increased to a horrible number.

Heskey at his best was far better. I think Crouch tends to play at a level closer to his best more often, though. Although an 80% Crouch and a 30% Heskey aren't so far apart.

I never thought Heskey was good enough to play for Liverpool but at his best he was miles ahead of Crouch. Heskey obviously had pictures of Ged and I think that Crouch has got some of Rafa.

Heskey will play 7 5/10 games then one 10/10 where he'sa unplayable. Crouch will play a series of 7/10 games
