anfieldgaz Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 (edited) After our inconsistent play over the last month or so......... predections please! Edited March 12, 2006 by anfieldgaz
Swipe Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 We 're lucky that Spurs are masters of inconsistincy. They'll drop more points. The fact Arsenal are still in the CL means they'll drop points too. But second place is gone now. And that's criminal.
Guest Red Mist Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 No higher than third. Think it will be a close finish for 3rd between us and a***.
anfieldgaz Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Think a lot could depend on how far we go in the F A cup. think it will be fourth and an F A cup in the bag!
Swipe Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 We're still in a healthy position for third. But that depends on this slump and how long it goes on for.
stressederic Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I still think we're in with a shout of 2nd. United still have to go to Chelsea, and play Arsenal at home, whilst we've no more games left against any of the top 4. The only trip left to London is for West Ham. Our remaining fixtures are: 15 Mar, 2006 Fulham19 Mar, 2006 Newcastle United 21 Mar, 2006 Birmingham City FA Cup Quarter Final 25 Mar, 2006 Everton 01 Apr, 2006 West Brom 09 Apr, 2006 Bolton Wanderers 15 Apr, 2006 Blackburn Rovers 22 Apr, 2006 West Ham United 29 Apr, 2006 Aston Villa 07 May, 2006 Portsmouth I fancy us to pick up points still.

And the final would be after the league season is over. The cup wont effect us much. stressederic said: I still think we're in with a shout of 2nd. Mike Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 no way we will catch utd - they are on form and will win most of their remaining games.i will be pleased if we can hang onto 3rd on current form.

DJS Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Prize money aside, there's little difference between 3rd and 4th, is there?

On current form I can't see us picking up more than 15 points and even that might be optimistic. Hopefully the teams below us will drop as many points. 2nd is out of the question.
