We 're lucky that Spurs are masters of inconsistincy. They'll drop more points. The fact Arsenal are still in the CL means they'll drop points too.

But second place is gone now. And that's criminal.

No higher than third. Think it will be a close finish for 3rd between us and a***.

I still think we're in with a shout of 2nd. United still have to go to Chelsea, and play Arsenal at home, whilst we've no more games left against any of the top 4.

The only trip left to London is for West Ham.

Our remaining fixtures are:

15 Mar, 2006 Fulham

19 Mar, 2006 Newcastle United

21 Mar, 2006 Birmingham City FA Cup Quarter Final

25 Mar, 2006 Everton

01 Apr, 2006 West Brom

09 Apr, 2006 Bolton Wanderers

15 Apr, 2006 Blackburn Rovers

22 Apr, 2006 West Ham United

29 Apr, 2006 Aston Villa

07 May, 2006 Portsmouth

I fancy us to pick up points still.

Think a lot could depend on how far we go in the F A cup.

I disagree, we've a MAXIMUM of 3 cup ties left. And the final would be after the league season is over. The cup wont effect us much.

They also go to Spurs, dont they?

Is that a MAXIMUM or just a maximum?

Yes actually I think they do.

They'll drop the points, no doubt.

I worry about us though. Very little cutting edge, lacking goals and we seem to be running out of steam, about 8 weeks too early.

no way we will catch utd - they are on form and will win most of their remaining games.

i will be pleased if we can hang onto 3rd on current form.

:D Hopefully resulting in lifting another trophy.

Hope so. I've rediscovered my taste for the FA Cup. after the Burnley debacle last year.

Cant see us doing it unless someone else dispaches of Chelsea, mind...

On CURRENT form I'd be ecstatic to hold onto 3rd!

4 homes and 6 aways in the league there. On current form I can't see us picking up more than 15 points and even that might be optimistic. Hopefully the teams below us will drop as many points.

2nd is out of the question.
