SkippyjonJones Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Would anyone turn down Ronaldo in the summer?
SkippyjonJones Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 Not me boss. hahha we agree on something. you think they'll take Kewell in part exchange
Guest PaulMcC Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I'd love him to join us. I don't care if he's lazy, he scores loads of goals. Was he offered to us and the Mancs?
fred Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Yes - unless he's willing to accept a similar deal to what Fowler's supposed to be on - short term, low wages.
David Hodgson Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 hahha we agree on something.you think they'll take Kewell in part exchange When I came out of the ground on Wednesday night there's not many I wouldn't have part-exed for Ronaldo....my beloved HK included (who was pi*s poor on the night, let the objectivity record show ).
fred Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 So it's a no, then That's what it boils down to I suppose.
Guest Les Howard Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Based on is recent performances, yes. Done nothing lately. eh?
slapnuts Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 aye get him over. He's a big fecker and would rough up a few defenders and cant be worse than what we have.
kop205 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 If he isn't good enough for Madrid, why is he good enough for us? Morientes wasn't.
Cobs Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 If he isn't good enough for Madrid, why is he good enough for us? Morientes wasn't. SIGN OWEN!
kop205 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 SIGN OWEN! Fair point, though unlike Owen I would say that Ronaldo is undeniably past his best so if it was a choice between the two i'd prefer Owen (plus the fact that Owen was never really given much of a chance at Real and was bought and sold as a money making exercise).
