Guest Red Mist Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 The publishers who gave him this deal are f***ing morons. Who in the hell is going to want to read the autobiography of a stupid 20 year old footballer? Any Red caught buying Rooney's book should be banned from YNWA and ridiculed for wanting to learn about the life of an uninteresting fat kid.

I'll add that any United fan caught reading, it needs flogging and banning from any and all football grounds. But, I suspect that many a United fan will read it. It can be a curse to be a United fan

He was introduced by the CEO and you were invited to queue to have your picture with him as long as you were in groups over 6. Apparently he didn't say a single word. I tried to persuade my wife to hold the palm of her hand up to him and mouth '5 times' but she wouldn't

Can't imagine there will bu much demand on Merseyside, but Utd fans all over the world (especially the younger ones) will want to read it. Whatever you think of the podgy t***, he's not bad at football and plays for a popular club - those two factors alone guarantee some level of demand. Which doesn't make the publishers morons...
