Guest Murf Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Anyone know what time they will train on Monday, the reason I am asking is, and why we haven't thought of this before now is! Why don't we get as many fans as we can down there to let the players and manager know how we all feel about the clubs decision to play the Blackburn game on the 15th of April. Bring stickers with you and the 12 questions from John Mac on sheets to hand to the players as they come in, obviously Mr Parry doesn't go training with them. Sorry for starting a new thread on this mods, but its now time to get things done, maybe from this and get a good turnout, we can move on to the players entrance on Wednesday night for the fulham game, seriously if a s***ty little bloke called Malcolm Glazer can get a few Mancs wound up and they got a bit of media attention with a few peaceful protests why can't we. So whats the feeling and let us know wether you fancy it on Monday, I am off work and will be at Anfield Monday morning for Brum tickets if any left, come on reds especially if you are local and can get the time of just for an hour or so. Melwood not that far away. NO GAME SHOULD BE PLAYED ON THE 15th WE NEED TO GET SOMETHING DONE, LETS DO IT NOW I will get in touch with Gerry and Peter today see how they feel. Put this on RAOTL and the post from me on Rawk, hence sorry mods etc.
Guest ziggystardust Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 its a good idea and obviously something thats been on your mind and rightly so but i dont know if it would acheive the desired result.
heighway Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I wonder is there any chance of the game being moved now that we're out of the CL?
Molby Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 can I ask a question that may have been asked already? what do the families want? isn't the first port of call to find out what they want? IMO nothing should be decided until we have that info and that's where all our efforts should go where is the input from the HJC on this matter?

Chili Palmer Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I know that what ever the families want is what should happen. However, would it not be an idea to actually request from the FA a home fixture on the 15th every year so that we can have the service before a full anfield crowd and pay respects to all that were lost. A very public and emotional service every year would ensure that they are never forgotten and would publicise the need for truth and justice. Just a thought. But whatever tha families decide will always have my full backing. ynwa
Molby Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I think if that was do-able it would get my vote, and if I was to take a guess, I think the families might want this too but I'd be dubious of guaranteed support from the FA

Guest Murf Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Just put an online petition up, for all its worth. http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/april15thrememberthe96

Guest roger Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Any voicing of discontent can only focus the powers that be on next years list of fixtures. So the effort is well worth while.
