If we take one point from our game at Highbury we´re eleven points clear of Arsenal with nine games to go. Then I will feel safe. If we lose however, the gap will only be eight points with us having a very difficult away game at Newcastle next. Arsenal are on a bit of a run at the moment and seems to have rediscovered their quick passing game. We one the other hand, are in a bit of a slump and tiredness will become a factor after a very long season. Spurs are only six points behind us but they have got a tricky run in.

Am I too negative thinking that we´re not yet have sealed a place in next years qualification rounds of the Champions league?

And let's not forget, Newcastle are also on a bit of a run and we have them in the cup...

fekkit, let's just shoot ourselves.

Come on you redmen!

We have Birmingham in the Cup. The Toon play the Russians.

Or if Spurs catch us, we finish fourth and Arsenal win the Champions League????

Now that would be irony, if the same situ occures the Ars* will automatically go in!

That's a nightmare I keep having.

We are struggling and have been since xmas but have managed to dig out a few 1-0's to keep us above the pack. But if we do collapse from here - and we are capable of a bad run given our form and confidence - there could yet be a horrible turn to the season. :(

until we start scoring goals we're under threat from f***ing everybody.

We've gone nearly three months without scoring, and I've seen nothing on the park to make me think this will end. Arsenal will stuff us on Sunday 3 or 4 nil.

The next two league games are critical. Should we lose them then gods knows where we will finish. The lack of confidence is a big worry.

My feelings too. ;)

When has our defence looked that shaky?

I am down after yesterday but be realistic

Are we over the 40 point mark, because relegation is a real possiblity listening to this!

We only need at least one of our strikers to hit form and we will be up and running, I havn't seen a match in all this bad run where we have been out played or havn't created chances. It will come, hopefully on sunday.

That's just not true.

Aaaaaaaaaaah yes, I remember it vividly. I think.

I think Beardo provided the assist. I dunno, it was a long time ago.

Just a few weeks ago we completely dominated Arsenal, yes it was 1-0 but it was a total bossing. We should not forget that and neither will they. It will be a difficult game - they always are - and they should be the favourites given their mideweek result and being at home but nobody looks like battering us, Agger/Kromkamp should be fit and fresh to play, put Didi and Xabi in the middle, play Stevie of Robbie and we won't lose.

We'll finish third, a big improvement on last season. We know what we lack but we should also recognise our strengths.

With being knocked out last night our potential games left have been reduced severely, most weeks we will only have one game now. With Agger, Kromkamp etc all available for al our remaining games I think we will be fine, this is the downside of starting our season in bloody July, but we'll all be happy with the extra £15M from the CL in the Summer no doubt.

WHAT IF WE LOSE ALL THE REST OF OUR GAMES AND EVERYONE ELSE WINS?

RAFA WILL GO TO MADRID AND STEVIE WILL JOIN THE MANCS AND XABI WILL GO TO MADRID AND CARRA WILL GO TO CHELSEA

I read that in the style of an hyperactive, sulking teenager - and I feel that you have caught the mood exceptionally well.
