Can you think of any other forward in the world that would have carried on trying to score after being assaulted by Terry?

Terry took the decision to take him out. Amazed he came off worse.

Amazing player.

Ronaldinho showed immense power to shrug Terry's body-check off the way he did - illustrates to me that he would have been as good in England as he's proved to be in Spain.

I've actually seen some people call him lightweight - which now they'll see he most certainly isn't.

He'll go on to become one of the all-time greats of the game if he can add a good World Cup to his achievements at club level; he is THE player of our generation, the talent that stands clearly out above all others.

Thank f*** for Peter Kenyon messing PSG about...

When Sir John Terry stood bellowing over Ronnie, after he had been made an utter cúnt of, jumping down hard so as to suggest utter rage at the fact that he couldn't get the ball, I actually had to withstand the urge to high five my co-viewer comrades.

he's an excellent penalty box defender and decent with the ball at his feet, but without makele and the safe haven of a very deep lying defensive line, terry'd be left on his a*** like that far more.

his limitations will be exposed in the summer. he'll have far less protection from his midfield.

Thought that for a while, myself.

I'd throw in the fact that having a non-overlapping LB in Gallas next to him also helps, just as Hyypia benefited from having Carra play at LB under Ged.

that was brilliant. between terry, makelele and carvalho there was absolutely no way that they were going to get that ball off ronaldinho. maradona used to do that.

I have always said that John Terry is the new Terry Butcher. I've been telling anyone who will listen that he's a liability and that against genuine quality he's found wanting. Last night isn't the first time for him either. Not that I care, but mark my words: Ingerlund won't win the World Cup and he will be at fault (although the media will blame the nearest Liverpool player).

You don't become "world class" just because you know the words to the national anthem and you're prepared to throw yourself into tackles.

The foreign media don't see Chelsea in the same light as the idiots here. They are a mundane team who are flat track bullies.

Their Manager believes too much of the sycophantic rambling that he's heard but his tactics consist of overpaying for average players, moaning about everything and using an alehouse centre half up front in the last ten minutes when all else has failed.

No class, no dignity, no history. Love it.

Little Ronnie was sublime at times last night, but still think Zidane is the master-craftsman of this generation and didn't seem to fade in and out of games as much. Think Zizou is more two-footed and generally got stuck in more.

Having said that Ronaldhino has shown his talent at a far earlier age so wisdom teeth permitting, he may top Zidane.

Ridiculous and completely untrue but funny with it

First Carvalho and now Terry are rubbish in here today. Ronhaldinho can make any defender including Carragher look out of his depth.

Sorry, he's average. He's protected by two or even three midfielders in the Premiership and rarely exposed. In continental games or for Ingerlund where the opponents create space around him he gets caught out. Ronaldinho is a class above, agreed, but Terry is a 1950's throwback. And that's not just today, I've said it for ages.

And Carvalho is sheeite.

John Terry is a superb defender, he's not the first world class defender to be made look stupid by Ronaldinho and he won't be the last

Leo - better thank Ronaldinho's brother/agent - it was he who put the spanner in the works...

Get me his address - and I'll send him some flowers...:)

And John Terry is completely rock solid as a defender in my opinion, as well as being a serious threat at set-pieces into the bargain.

How often do you see him make a mistake for God's sake? If it was a court case the evidence you could provide to prove Terry to be over-rated would be pretty flimsy...

I don't like the t*** either, but I can admit he's quality.

Graham Taylor on Five Live last night commented on Chelsea pulling players down at corners (forget which player he mentioned by name) and said he couldn't believe referees let them get away with it

also reported that mourinho announced one team to the players on Monday evening, a second team to the players Tuesday afternoon and a third team started the game

I agree. I thought he was really good last night. Because Henry mugged carra is carra schit or do we just conceed Henry is on of the best in the world

I agree that Terry is very good - and if Sven takes his head out of his ar*e and places Terry and Carra together at the back - Inglerlund will have a decent chance of going all the way

I was extremely disappointed with Lampard, not Terry, last night.

He is the best in the world. Flat-tracks only though.

Ronaldinho was taking the piss out of the Chelsea players at times. He is incredibly strong, just like Maradona. It was like watching a five-a-side game where there's a pro against school boys, holding them off with superior strength, experience and skill. He's a league above.

Which is precisely why I feel that to mark Henry out of a match is easier compared to little Ronnie.....a player like that can never be kept quite for 90 mins unless of course he's out of sorts or of form. At times he's hardly in the match and then BANG goes a winner. Remember Maradona in the 1990 World Cup against Brazil?
