Netgear MR814v2 problems

Right,

 

I've installed two of these fairly easily so I went to my mates last night to install his as he was having problems.

 

The first problem is that the pc or laptop cannot logon to the router via 192.168.0.1 or the router login page. All the cables are fine from the modem to router to pc, the lights that should be showing are showing.

 

The laptop says that it's connected but it's not, and also when you refresh wireless networks in view all that comes up is NETGEAR and not the twnnnnnn number.

 

Anyone else had the same problem ?
