growler Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Heard a story that he is 'home sick' and wants to move up north. would solve the RM problem and possibly the cisse problem... anyone got anything concrete?
M4TTA Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 haven't got a clue about any rumours etc but he's a cracking player, one id defo like to see at Anfield under Rafa and Co.His pace on the right is electric and will nearly always get passed his man.
Leo No.8 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 He can't half shift - he's raw still but has the potential to be top class. Expect similar pace when Gonzales arrives as well...
crisps Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 dont know how much he's worth now but would be a cracking addition...
cymrococh Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Never seen him play, but I think he's too lightweight.
Ombudsam Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Heard a story that he is 'home sick' and wants to move up north. would solve the RM problem and possibly the cisse problem... anyone got anything concrete? Liverpool isn't that much closer to Leeds than North London. Spurs wouldn't sell him Mark Gonzalez, July - sorted. They play in different positions
Benitez Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Heard a story that he is 'home sick' and wants to move up north. would solve the RM problem and possibly the cisse problem... anyone got anything concrete? very old rumour. Routlidge is the one at Spuds who's been pissed off, far more recently than Lennon.
DGMO Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 The only thing i've heard is that he might be coming to the North-West in the summer - but to Man Utd. It's doing the rounds with their fans with them saying Fergie wants him and Ronaldo to be the main out wide for the future. I'd take him, Pennant or SWP and hope one of them happens
Guest YKI Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 It's nearly 200 miles to London from Leeds and about 80 from Leeds to Liverpool.
Ombudsam Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 It's nearly 200 miles to London from Leeds and about 80 from Leeds to Liverpool. It takes about 3hrs to get to leeds from North London and about 2hrs to get there from Liverpool
growler Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 well, its nicer between liverpool and leeds, then it is between london and leeds, which is birmingham, and why would anyone want to live there? him, Gonzales, Kewell, alonso, Gerrard, Torres would not be a bad front 6.

Guest TanMan Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 birmingham isn't en route to leeds from london Ignore him. He thinks it's nicer to go through Manchester en route than through Birmingham. Personally I think the route from John Prescotts colon to the outside world is nice than the route from Liverpool to Leeds
Kahnee Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 It takes about 3hrs to get to leeds from North London and about 2hrs to get there from Liverpool Does it b****x - 90 minutes on an average day, an hour on a good day
floyd Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 It takes about 3hrs to get to leeds from North London and about 2hrs to get there from Liverpoolf***. I've stumbled across a multi-map forum.
Leo No.8 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I went to Uni in Leeds and travelled back and forth every now and again for the weekend. With no traffic I've done it in just over an hour before to be honest, and that was in an E reg Vauxhall Cavalier which would only go over 80 on a downhill slope, so it wasn't like I was doing a ton all the way. It's more like 65 - 70 miles and all motorway. I really have no idea why the hell I'm joining in a conversation about how far much further a player we haven't even been linked with yet would have to travel home if he came to us, but there you go...

Likewise. I lived near St Helens and it took me less than an hour to get from Harold Grove.
Cobs Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 i have never driven between Liverpool and Leeds and on that basis would not sign Aaron Lennon...
Maldini Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Aaron Lennon is the b*****d son of Nelson Piquet so he should be fine.
