European champions Liverpool have reportedly made a bid for in-demand Chateauroux starlet Razak Boukari.

The 18-year-old has also attracted interest from Tottenham and Chelsea, but The Reds have reputedly stolen a march on their rivals by tabling a £1.5 million offer.

Liverpool are in the market for a winger and the French youth international is believed to have caught the eye of Rafa Benitez.

Boukari claims that he has spoken to Liverpool, and that the London clubs are yet to follow up their initial interest with a firm approach.

"Chateauroux have had a bid from Liverpool," Boukari is quoted as saying in The News of the World.

"I've talked with their directors, they're a big club.

"Tottenham and Chelsea have come to watch me but I've not heard any news from them."

BBC Rumour Mill mentioned this last November - taken from the Sunday People!

He's a good player - I once tried to sign him on Football Manager but he was having none of it, so a word of warning to our board there.

In Football Manager, Pako thinks Finnan is no more than a back-up player and the clubs scouts think Kromkamp is never going to make it as a footballer.

Quality game

:hmm:

He had to talk to our directors to find out our status?

Seems like he's secretly holding out for a move to Chelsea where he'll get to play lots of games.

I guess he'd fit the bill for a backup RM.

maybe they should have actual races to decide who gets players. quickest manager over 10K gets the player. Much fairer than whoever has the most money. Or better still quickest chief exectutive. Then we could really start slating Parry for us not signing enough quality players

Chelsea will beat us to him by offering £10M. And he will conveniently be a 'life ling Chelsea fan'. So he'll end up being the latest of Mourinho's rent boys.
