windy city red Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 not injured and not happy. dont understand... why is he presently out of favour with rafa?
Andy-oh-six Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Not surprising to hear that. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back on Wednesday though.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Maybe my mate wasn't bulls***ting when he said that he was leaving ¬_¬
Guest snez1 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 thought he might have been rested today. However, why not have him on the bench like Xabi? Probably would have been useful today. Have had a few doubts since he hardly smiled afetr his Arsenal goals and just swore a lot in Spanish which was very un Luis like.
IgPig Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 (edited) Was suprised he wasn't on the bench at least. Maybe Rafa thinks he can afford to lose Luis at the end of the season given he would still command a reasonable fee? get some money for Luis to put toward a top class striker? Kindred Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Is it possible now that rafa has had a good look at what is required in english football, that he's decided that Garcia is not what is required? When rafa first came formations changed alot and Garcia was sometimes played as the deep laying forward off a striker, whereas now its largely 442. Maybe rafa needs the money to buy a couple of right sided Gonzales' for next season ie a proper right winger to cross for the strikers, which is why he keeps saying we don't score enough goals.
Guest Kev Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Any ideas about why Kev? Nope, just what was said in passing.
Big G Superhero Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Maybe Rafa showing his ruthless streak after seeing Luis give the ball away one too many times... Don't want to see him leave though
Romario Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Great lets make sure we get rid of anyone that has a hope of scoring. I can't see how this has anything to do with football. Granted he loses the ballalot but at least he scores. Our other forwards waste the ball too but on the downside don't score either. I think Crouch's goal against the mancs is the only goal ourforwards have scored this year. Perhaps our great defensive record is seriously costing us up front. I'd be sad to see him go.

Romario Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 why do youpress enterinstead of letting the cursorgo to the end of the line?Because sometimes when I'm in the mood I'll let my sentences run and run and run until I totally fill up the line simply because I can. It makes me feel good.OthertimesI'll keep hittingenteralso becauseI can.

Rusty Shackleford Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 There would be no shortage of takers in Spain if he were to go. Still don't think he's sufficiently adapted to the pace of the game over here. Just get the feeling that extra yard of space in Spanish football is where Garica lives and breathes. We know Rafa isn't happy with the way he casually gives the ball away, and yet Luis performances suggest he hasn't paid a blind bit of notice to advice given! He's still the same flip flopping superstar he was last season.
Kenny_ Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 He'll score againt Benfica. Deffo a player I want to see in that game. Nights like that needs special moments and that lad can create those. And I can't see him leaving us.
_00_deathscar Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I don't WANT him to leave us. Aside from being one of my favourite players, he's a BIGGGGGGGGGG game player and is always useful in the squad.
Keita Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Maybe rafa is pushing him out to madrid then rafa will follow.
Mick_G Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 f*** This , he got us to number five nearly on his own , WTF is going on .
Guest Sabre Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 f*** This , he got us to number five nearly on his own , WTF is going on . Calm down, mate.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 He's been injufred too, maybe it's a softly softly - after what happened with Kewell.
Guest RedLegend Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 Great scorer of important goals. But a complete luxury item most of the time as he gives possession away willy-nilly. I like him but he's one of those players that strikes me as someone who'll never be a regular week-in week-out.

We are not fighting relegation every week! Surely now we've seen the team without him it's obvious how poor we are without his magic. Granted he loses the ball alot but the team is set up to cover for that and then give it to the players who can make a difference?
