Herbie von Smalls Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 am i being overly cynical, or does the decision for them to separate reek of political spin? her husband has distanced himself and taken the rap, while jowell is now the 'wronged woman'. i'm sure there'll be government calls for her privacy to be respected while she comes to terms with this 'difficult phase' in her relationship. i suspect they may 'reconcile' once all the fuss has blown over - that's if her husband isn't convicted by the italian authorities. maybe i'm way off target here, but i hope i'm right. if it weren't so machiavellian it would be comical.
