I am just archiving all me emails and taking a backup on DVD and then I am done

 

2 weeks paternity leave

2 weeks vacation

52 weeks unpaid leave of absence to be a stay at home dad. Wife goes back to work in June so as soon as she gets off the scene, I (we?) can sit and watch the World Cup in peace...

 

No guarantee of a job at the end of it. I feel like I am stepping off a cliff into the unknown, but also feel like I am leaving the office for a business trip and will be back in a fortnight. It all feels very strange. Fekking lucky to be able to do it though - both from the emplyer side and managing the cash flow.

 

That said, I'll miss the income! And I bet the little nipper interrupts my spamming on here in a way that work has singularly failed to do for years!!!
