5 a side last night

Turned up for our 3rd game of the season.

The opposition have kits and that, which suggests they are quite good (schoolyard logic).

There are about 12 of them. Although only 5 of them are in the full kit. The others look like they've come off a shift digging roads with high visibility vests on and steel toecapped shoes.

We have 6. 1 of whom shows up gassed. Totally off his t***. The game starts and it becomes clear that of their 12, 7 of them are their as supporters. And the kits are misleading as they are not that good and very unfit. They are so unfit they start bringing on the blokes in the high visibility vests after about 5 minutes. But they only have enough shoes for 5 players so every time they make a subsitution they have to swap shoes. The high visibility vest blokes keep running into the area and hoofing it, giving away penalties.

Then we bring on the leathered bloke. He is so pissed he falls over every time he changes direction and is completely unable to make his foot coincide with the ball. They get back into the game abit.

Then their goalkeeper goes down with cramp. This is a 1st as far as I'm concerned. A 5 a side keeper getting cramp. So he comes out of goal to limp around the outfield.

Weird.
