Garcia played the first half. He was good, creating problems to the Ivory Cost defense. Joaquin took his place in the second half.

 

Alonso. Played until midway second half. Good passing but nothing special. Cesc stole the show in midfield. (great debut)

 

Morientes. Came in the last minutes for Torres. Missed a sitter .

He was never quick, but now is painfully slow, and his finishing unrecognisable.

Absolutely - I've never known a player lose the ability to finish the way he has.

 

At Madrid and for the Spanish national team he used to be lethal.
