Was quite amusing seeing the over the top celebrations.

All this from a side that couldn't be arsed playing in the FA Cup - never mind the 'worthless' cup.

I enjoyed going to Cardiff myself and seeing Liverpool win it - and it's a very good cup competition - but after all the years of the them going on that it was 'beneath them' - fairly entertaining.

Mr. Rooney - at last has something a bit better than the cup he won when he Was 13. Bless.

Neville was on SSN and my 8yo asked if he was "well", I asked him what he meant and he asked if was " mentally challenged." the wife had to explain things to him as I was incapable of speech due to laughter.

apparently, in school last week they did a lesson on special needs education and he thought neville sounded like one of the children in the video they watched.

They teach your kid well at school then.

Showing him pictures of Neville with arrows pointing at him saying "******"

If the scoreline stays the same then Jewell has a weird record of managing a team against United four times and losing 4-0 every time.

If United are his bogey team then he can't be a future Liverpool manager :(

--??? The players wandering around shaking hands, and giving each other the odd hug? Can`t really say they were "over the top".

This is the worthless cup of course. Make no f***in mistake.

Unless you`re saying that United rates this one higher than the League title, FA-cup and the CL?

It`s a poor mans trophy, end of f***in story. And yes, it`s a part of your legendary Plastic Treble.

Daft.

I went to the game yesterday (my brother is a utd fan and his mate pulled out at the last min so i offered to drive him there - should have known better)

their fans are a bunch of w*****s. never met such a bunch of t***s in all my life.

1-0 up at half time, and all you could hear at the bar, were a number of 'hilarious' anti-scouse songs.

Michael Shields, We won it 2 times without killing anyone, etc. c****.

i asked one of their fans why they were singing songs about liverpool when they're playing in a cup final against another team.

couldnt give me a decent answer, so I asked him if it was because they couldnt sing any songs about winning the most trophies as liverpool had them all sown up. :D

his response was not favourable.

I had to laugh at the daft looking Glazer Boys in the stands with their silly grins on their faces. Oblivious to the fact that the trophy they had just won was the "Mickey Mouse Cup". They must have been pleased Daddy handed them a really successful plaything.

Fergie as phoney as ever saying how pleased he was to win a trophy for the new owner, knowing he was clueless enough to offer him another contract extension.

It's funny how the kids got them there yet his top scorer throws a hissy because he didn't start. Spare a thought for the youngsters who were probably playing in a reserve team game in front of 120 people instead.
