Morse Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 ...for the reserve team squad and hence the future, he is worth looking at surely. I have seen enough after 20 mins (Sky Sports 2) to see that he has a great future. He is big and strong, and also very intelligent...twice the player Mellor is. He holds the ball up well and he has just scored a peach of a goal. I have followed his progress this season and last, since I am a Taff, he is a bit of a cult hero down there. This is the fella who owns his own image rights! Anyone else see the benefits of looking at this lad for Liverpool?
Spike Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Everton fan, just signed a new contract with Swansea. Erm, Everton fan Nah...

Guest saltysam Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 not exactly a young talent he's nearly 29 i think.

Vlad JNR Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I don't think he falls into the 'young talent' section he's about 28/29 (according to various websites) isn't he? He came into football pretty late i think A decent enough goal getter in the lower leagues, i think that the step up for him may be too great.
The Hitman Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Great lower division goalscorer.....like Adi Akinbiyi.
jon_hall Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Hahahaha young my a***. Good striker in the lower divisions, if he was ten years younger he'd be snapped up with his promise, but not at that age.
Guest Cisse's mate Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 First thing you should do is find out how old he is. you may get a nasty surprise
WelshSpikeMikey Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 He'd not make it in the Premiership anyway.
crisps Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 sure i read summat that he was always good at football but couldnt be arsed until about 25 when he got himself into shape and realised he was good enough to be a pro!
cymrococh Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 He's 29, a hero in a small club that's going places and not actually that good. To think that we should sign him is ridiculous.
Spike Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Everton fan? FowlerOwenCarraRooney You'd have them all at our club playing regular...go and watch him, he is class. childhood fans
Ostrich Man Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 im not sure...but isnt he about 29...hardly young. i agree though....bentinez should buy him
Spike Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 As a second striker he'd fit perfectly in your centre mid OM
Ostrich Man Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 im waiting for liam miller to be recalled then we'll see whose laughing.
Spike Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 you are in danger of giving mancs a good name there lad
Earl Hafler Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 There's a young lad at West Ham that might be worth checking out. Apparently the first two yards are in his head so he could take our penalties.
Spion kop Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 my pub team played against him once years ago, ripped us to peices.
Elisha_Scott Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 my pub team played against him once years ago, ripped us to peices. Was he playing for the quiet man?
