Will Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 How did Chelsea blag the Wednesday? Cos that is by far the most appealing game for TV?
Benitez Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) Cos that is by far the most appealing game for TV? aren't they all on the tellybox? Curbishley was right, Liverpool and the Rent Boys get the Tues and Weds night games. Edited February 24, 2006 by Benitez
Alonso Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 aren't they all on the tellybox? Curbishley was right, Liverpool and the Rent Boys get the Tues and Weds night games. From Liverpoolfc.tv Liverpool have confirmed the date of their FA Cup quarter final with Birmingham at St Andrews. The tie will take place on Tuesday March 21, kick-off 7.45pm, and will be screened live by SKY TV. This season's quarter final matches are being played in midweek following an agreement reached last season with the Premier League and Football League to enable England to have a four-week preparation window ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.
Gilps Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 I like the way the one involving the replays is first up. Doesn't affect us, but that's 5 days after the second replays - loads of time for the clubs involved to get everything arranged.
Guest L7_rdn Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Are there replays in the Quarters? Or is it settled on the night?
Will Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 aren't they all on the tellybox? Curbishley was right, Liverpool and the Rent Boys get the Tues and Weds night games. Yes - but Wednesday is (I assume) the best day for live TV on the box (as far as Sky/BBC are concerned)
CarraLegend Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 At least it isnt £42 to visit this s***hole again, going to be £25 by the looks of it.
Serko Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 psl Posted Today, 12:05 How did Chelsea blag the Wednesday?
Knox_Harrington Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Yes - but Wednesday is (I assume) the best day for live TV on the box (as far as Sky/BBC are concerned)Wednesday is the beeb's day as they can't move Eastenders. They have first choice I think.
kop205 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Are there replays in the Quarters? Or is it settled on the night? No replays from the quarters onwards so it will be decided on the night.
Guest ojdk Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 (edited) No replays from the quarters onwards so it will be decided on the night. There WILL be replays in the next round, Liverpool v Birmingham on 12 April if necessary: http://www.blues.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Home...~787053,00.html Edited February 25, 2006 by ojdk
Will Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I thought that there would not be replays if a team was still in the CL
Ombudsam Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 I thought that there would not be replays if a team was still in the CL that would be an utterly bizarre rule
