Looked like the complete central defender to me. Tall, strong, quick, good in the air, decent positional sense and can play a bit too.

I think he's a big reason Crouch didn't start tonight. For all his merits, Crouch isn't the strongest, and I think Luisao would have dominated him.

One player I think is very, very under-rated is Petit. His passing and control of the game from the centre are superb.

 

Not the type of player we need, but I'm amazed the Mancs aren't interested...
