drop in the ocean...got off easy...

he should have been fined at least ten times that amount or been forced to sit through Victoria Beckham reading Shakespeare's complete works

But then he'd have missed the World Cup

This won't exactly deter footballers from inciting crowd violence will it...?

FFS we'd all pay 5,000 quid or more to do the same on the pitch at the Theatre of Prawns if we were LFC players and the role and scoreline were reversed

Lunacy and inadequate

Exactly. Pathetic. Why bother at all?

It's like the equivalant of me being fined £15 for drink driving and gettin no points (No..that hasn't happened!)

and tbh I'd just think hahaha prob like that inbred (insert appropriate 4 letter word) is thinkin now

im not bothered either way - not even sure he should have got done at all.

we don't get fined for singing about him f***ing his ma up the a*** now do we?

i think its a disgrace he was fined at all. the fact that he is even facing an FA charge is ludicrous. its taking emotion and passion out of the game.

is right.

But as it's Neville they should donote the fine to Scope to at least let some good out it it.

The c*nt.

For the final time, he deserves everything he gets, in fact a lot more than a £5k fine, not for celebrating the goal, but the fact that he chose not to celebrate with his team mates, nor the 64,000 Mancs in the crowd, but that he ran 60 yards to deliberately celebrate in front of the 3,500 Liverpool fans - less than 5% of the crowd - and he makes all that effort to taunt us.

That is deliberate, calculated and thought-through provocation, pure and simple.
