Mikey Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Fast, strong, goes past people, can cross, hard-working, scores goals, takes corners and free-kicks. Impresses me every time I see him to be honest.
Stevie H Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 think he's stagnated under o'leary to be honest. looked a great prospect when he broke through but now doesn't look anywhere near as effective a player as his ex-team mate aaron lennon.
crisps Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Lennon looks an excellent prospect, however he just looks like one of those players that'll be 'off the rails' in a few years!!
Benitez Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 distinctly average is what he is. Strong he ain't.
Gilps Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 If we're looking at young English right sided players whose clubs would have no desire or reason to sell to us, then Lennon would be my choice.
Guest Kev Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Gonzalez will be ready to step straight in to that position next season.
Guest Jack Bauer Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Doesn't Gonzalez play on the left? He was playing there yesterday as well.
McBain Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Impresses me every time I see him to be honest. Mine is the opposite impression
Gravy Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Doesn't Gonzalez play on the left? He was playing there yesterday as well. He can play both. Apparently, at only 70% fit he was still the quickest plaayer at the club and that is including Cisse.
Bootle Buck Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I haven't seen anything from Milner to suggest he is getting any better. What about Bullard from Wigan he has the pace to get past people.
Mikey Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Blimey - no-one agrees! Thought he was good yesterday but there you go!!!!! So is 'speedy' the answer for RM next season then?
Rahul Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Gonzalez will be ready to step straight in to that position next season. He's left sided.
Coyler Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Apparently, at only 70% fit he was still the quickest plaayer at the club and that is including Cisse.Cool, when he eventually plays for us in pre-season this summer he'll be the quickest player at "the club that does not include Cissé".
CaptainXabi Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 He can play both. Apparently, at only 70% fit he was still the quickest plaayer at the club and that is including Cisse.I don't know what percent he's operating now, but he made Miguel look like Morientes yesterday. He's absurdly fast.
Paul_LFC Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Milner has had a great season so far. He has impressed me everytime i've seen him this season but there are better players out there for us.
Rahul Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 He's a fast and skillful left sided player, and some are suggesting we play him out of position on the right? Not the best idea in my opinion. I'd put him on the left and play Harry as second striker.
